THE FINAL WORDS OF ISAIAH 53 PART TWO

The final words of Isaiah 53 Part Two

There was fruit in the sufferings of Jesus Christ and let me focus on something since we are His children. There is Godly fruit in our suffering for God. This is not an exercise in futility because we are called according to the purpose of God because love for our heavenly Father is foremost in our hearts. I am a poor sinner and Jesus Christ does and will see the blessed fruit of the travail of His soul in the founding and building up of His church and the eternal salvation of His children. A poor sinner like me under the loving umbrella of Jesus Christ now and for all eternity leaves me speechless.

Jesus Christ died for me on the cross and because of this I was forgiven of my sins. I was acquitted from that guilt which would have ruined me and sent me to hell. Instead I have the favor of God because I accepted the Son of God into my heart by repenting of all my sins. This applies to me because I accepted Jesus Christ into my heart and He purchased my justification. Obviously I could not possibly purchase my own justification because all my works are as filthy rags. I sinned many times but Jesus Christ never sinned; therefore, He became the perfect sacrificial atonement for me. Of course I am using me as an example because I am familiar with Bob (me). True believers in Jesus Christ are only justified by our faith in Him through our consent; therefore, we are under the covenant of grace. Through His righteousness and resurrection power we can live for all eternity in heaven.

A question sometimes rises up in the minds and hearts of people. If a person goes to hell and he or she does one hundred years of time doesn't that person deserve to go to heaven? After all didn't that individual go through enough? That is a highly intelligent question but look at the paragraph right before this paragraph. The Bible says we can only be justified through faith in Jesus Christ to receive His grace. Doing time in hell is works and we could never be good enough to be pardoned of our sins.

"But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away." Isaiah 64:6.

Let me quote some verses that tell us we can only be justified by faith through Jesus Christ.

"Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law." Romans 3:28.

"Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Je'sus Christ, even we have believed in Je'sus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified." Galatians 2:16.

" But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith." Galatians 3:11.

"Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith." Galatians 3:24.

I hope this clears everything up on how we are redeemed through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

As we believe in Him the proper way realize that Jesus Christ bore our iniquities and saved us under the load of sin by taking it upon Himself.

Verse twelve says God will set Him (Jesus Christ) among the great. The Son of God will be highly exalted and have a name above every name. Think about everything Jesus Christ has conquered --- Principalities, powers, sin, Satan, death, hell, the world and the flesh. We were in captivity to sin but through Jesus Christ we are captive to nothing.

If you would like to be held captive to nothing through Jesus Christ and honestly do not believe you ever accepted the Son of God as your personal Savior and Lord by repenting of all your sins and inviting Jesus Christ into your life now probably would be a good time to make that all important decision not only for life but eternity.

If you just made that pivotal choice or if you are already a Christian understand you do not have to be held captive to anything through Jesus Christ but this does not mean we will not go through persecution, deep trials or troubling times. We probably will especially since we are so close to the return of Jesus Christ. Of course we are going to try and do everything we can to further the gospel for the right motives because there is not much time. This is not to say the world is going to end but every sign points to the rapture of the church being near, the seven year tribulation is impending and the return of Jesus Christ (second advent) is liberty for this world. At this point the Prince of Peace will rule for one thousand years. Even so come soon Lord Jesus Christ.

God bless you,
Bob D.
