Power to Tread on – Serpents?

“And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:18-19. I’m sure you are all familiar with the congregations who believe they can handle snakes without being bitten or harmed in any why. Verse 19 above is often misinterpreted by these folks. They believe that what Jesus is saying is that He has given all His disciples the power to tread on literal serpents and scorpions. They believe that it is only a lack of faith that allows them to be bitten and ultimately to die from snakebite. These are foolish people who hold to a form of biblical illiteracy.

 

“And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.” Luke 10:17. The serpents and scorpions Jesus refers to in verse 19 above are supernatural, evil spirits (demons). Jesus gave His disciples His power – power to tread on demons. To advance the Kingdom of God unhindered.

 

When the 70 were out on their mission they encountered the malevolent supernatural realm and realized they did have power over devils through Christ’s name. The demons were no match for the power of Christ; it was not the seventy’s power but the power of Jesus (God Almighty) that prevailed against Satan and his horde.  

 

These seventy disciples of Jesus’ understood His words as follows: “I gave you the power (authority, strength) that no matter what perils you might encounter, your progress would not be detoured or hindered by My enemy.” No matter what machinations and persecutions Satan had determined to throw at them, to thwart the preaching of the gospel, they would prevail. Interestingly, He’s telling us (His followers) the same thing today. As the serpents and scorpions (demons) continually attempt to thwart the preaching of the Gospel, we too shall overcome them – not by our power but with the power of God. “But as many as received him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” John 1:12. Power comes only from the Creator God of the universe. That power includes becoming sons of God, power to overcome the enemy’s evils, and power to stand firm in our faith. When we receive Christ and believe on His name, we are freely given this awesome power.

 

The malevolent supernatural beings have powers that humans can’t even fathom. They are beings with varying ranks, and the higher the rank the more power they possess. But to Jesus they were nothing, and He made it plain to His followers that by His power these demonic beings had no power over them. Nor do they have power over His saints today unless we allow them that power. How do we do that? We give them power through our unbelief, and even our doubts. We are surrounded and outnumbered by the demonic realm, yet with all their powers, which they wield mightily over the lost, they have only the power over us that we allow them. Many Christians allow the enemy sovereignty over their lives because they continue to walk in fear and doubt.

 

We must understand Jesus’ words “Nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Nothing can hurt the real us. The real us is spirit and the world of the demonic can’t touch us because we belong to Jesus. We are His property, His possession, and we should all hold to His promise.

 

When men and women go off to war they are supplied with materials to help keep them safe. Among many other items they are supplied helmets, bulletproof vests, special boots and clothing, and, of course, weapons. This is all helpful as they go out to meet the enemy, but not sufficient protection to insure them no harm. Compared to the protection God affords His children, our military’s protections are wholly insufficient. God’s protection far exceeds anything even the fiercest supernatural enemy has in his arsenal.

 

In Paul’s epistle to the Ephesians he describes the protection we need as a full buffer against the enemy. We have God’s power protecting us and we have the armor He has issued each of His children. When we put on God’s armor it becomes impossible for the enemy of our souls to breach that protection. The sad thing is few Christians put on the armor and many more never even give their God-given armor any thought.

 

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” Ephesians 6:12. “Principalities”, “powers”, and “rulers of the darkness of this world” are ranks of fallen angels. Just as in military forces on earth, there are levels of power, so it is with the satanic realm. God did not leave us helpless and naked when it comes to standing firm against the enemy combatants. “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Ephesians 6:13.

 

So what are these pieces of God-issued armor? “Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;” Ephesians 6:14. The first mentioned is that of being girt with the truth (the word of God). When we have the knowledge of the word of God firmly embedded in our minds and hearts we are indeed girt with the truth and we become a formidable foe to be reckoned with. There’s mighty power in His word, freely given to all who seek that truth.

 

The breastplate of righteousness is only given to those who have become God’s peculiar people, His possession – the born again. That breastplate (righteousness) is a God ordained supernatural boundary impenetrable by the enemy. The picture so far is that of an unyielding, fully protected soldier in God’s army – but hold on to your hats, there’s more protection available.

 

“And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;” Ephesians 6:15. This one is obvious. Wherever God sends us we are to be prepared “…to be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:” 1 Peter 3:15. The word “shod” actually means we are to bind to ourselves the Gospel of peace in the sense that that binding is permanent. Preparation means exactly what we think. We are to study the word of God so that we can’t be caught off guard by any wacked-out supernatural being, or any human being for that matter.

 

“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” Ephesians 6:16. The shield of faith is the key to all the rest of the armor doing their individual jobs. If we have not faith we have no shield. If we have faith in God then the shield He provides covers us from head to toe. A lack of faith leaves us unprotected. Faith in Christ effectively quenches the fiery darts of the supernatural realm.

 

“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:” Ephesians 6:17. To take the helmet of salvation means we’ve been born again, it is the protection of our spirit. Without salvation our spirit is fully open to the enemy’s attacks. As a matter of fact, without salvation we would belong to the enemy. When we take hold of the sword of the Spirit we’re taking hold of God’s sword. God’s inerrant word is your sword of protection. Take hold of it and use it every day. It’s your power base. Keep it near.

 

“Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.” Luke 10:20. Jesus tells these 70 disciples, thus He’s telling us as His followers today, to take no joy in the fact that the malevolent supernatural beings are subject to us. It’s not our power that repels the demons – it’s not our strength that keeps them at bay – it’s Christ’s power that prevails. God gets the glory for who we are in Christ and how we stand for His Kingdom. Our rejoicing comes into play as we realize that our names are written in Heaven.

 

“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;” Ephesians 6:18. Prayer is our direct line of communication to God; praying always with the desire and need for God who is always in control to be ever vigilant on our behalf and on the behalf of our brethren. Especially as we watch the persecution of the saints intensify in these extreme last days.

 

The closer we get to the Rapture of the saints our individual wills will be tested…for some, most exceedingly. What kind of power could we possibly possess which would enable us to stand against the enemy? It’s spiritual not physical. We have no chance when it comes to physical strength to withstand the wiles of the devil. That spiritual power given to us by Jesus Himself is far greater than anything we might be faced with emerging from the enemy camp. Yes, the human followers of Satan can kill our body but they can’t touch who we really are. “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:28.

DECEPTION IN THE PEWS

Deception in the Pews

“Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.” Luke 13:24. There is a prominent view these days among Christians which seems to have crept into the mainstream of Christianity. It is the view held by many professing Christians that sitting in a pew every Sunday morning is a good indication that a person is born again. Sadly, what we’re confronted with here is another of the enemy’s many deceptions. 

 

Before continuing with the above deceptive view, I’d like to remind everyone that Satan came to kill, steal, and destroy. He will do everything in his power to keep people from God’s truth. He’s discovered that combining some truth with some lies brings about the results he wants. He’s also discovered that many of those he’s determined to destroy are willing accomplices.

 

From Jesus’ own words we know that there will be many who have been deceived into believing they are His, when in fact they are not. “When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.” Luke 13:25-27. The master of the house is God, and at this point He has locked the door to Heaven. Yet there are many who are outside still knocking, claiming they should be allowed entrance. Why would God not allow them to enter? I know you not… depart from me, all of you who work…for Satan.

 

Interestingly, when it comes to eternity humans are afforded only two choices. “He that is not with me is against me...” Matthew 12:30. We either say yes to Jesus, in which case we are with Him, or we refuse Him, in which case we are against Him. In regards to the above mentioned door knockers, they heard Jesus’ words as He taught in their streets, they even ate and drank with Him. Yet Jesus considered them workers of iniquity – in other words the opposition.

 

The unsaved are often taught that simply being a good person or doing good deeds is in accordance with God’s will, therefore God will not deny them their part in Heaven. This is a deception that in many cases resonates throughout many churches. All the “door knockers” works and good deeds were nothing to the King of kings. If we don’t believe in Him then His response to us will always be “I know you not.” Many will continue their bewailing and knocking as they are falling into the depths of Hell, all because they allowed the enemy to deceive them with the notion that all God desires is your good intentions and your good works. On the contrary, what God desires from each of us is a personal relationship with His only begotten Son.

 

Our relationship with God is twofold. First of all we must understand what constitutes a relationship. A relationship exists between people when we have established a link between us and them – there’s a connection. When Jesus said He never knew these folks He meant He had no knowledge of them ever attempting to establish a connection with Him. Secondly, what I mean by twofold is that both parties must acknowledge that there exists a relationship. No acknowledgement by one of the participants means there is no relationship. The people spoken of in Luke 13:25 who are crying Lord, lord were deceived into thinking they had a relationship with Jesus, but in fact the relationship they were convinced they had was only one sided.

 

What was it that was missing? Belief. They never got to a point that they actually believed in who Jesus was and is. Since Jesus plainly states He never knew them we can be assured something was missing that would link them to Him. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. It doesn’t get any simpler than that. The key here is belief. There is nothing to works or good deeds when we are considering our eternal salvation. There is only belief in the One who God sent.

 

When we first believe in Jesus as our Saviour and Lord, and that He alone is our hope for salvation, we are then brought instantly into a relationship with the God of all creation. Believing who Jesus is, and what He did for us is the means to establishing an everlasting relationship with Him – only then do we have a connection. Many sitting in those pews on Sunday mornings have never established that connection – relationship. How’s that possible you might ask? 

 

The deception that has been burgeoning for many years in most cases involves the attributes of God. Is God real? Did He create the universe? Did He create the earth in 6 literal 24 hour days? Did He create man as it plainly states in His word or did He use evolution and millions of years? Jesus didn’t really walk on water, there’s no such thing as a virgin birth, He’s not really God Almighty, and on and on the deceptions flow. The enemy owns the field of deception and doubt. First he introduces the doubt “Did God really say” and then he introduces the deception “You shall not surely die”. With these two phrases that make up the core content of the enemy’s lies he has managed to convince many that the God of all creation, Jesus Christ, is only a myth. In some pseudo-Christian circles we are confronted with those who believe in Jesus but only as a lesser god, or in some cases merely a wonderful teacher. This attitude towards our God and Saviour does not lend itself to a twofold relationship with Jesus Himself. Many profess they know Jesus, but if He refers to them as workers of inequity (children of Satan) they are deceived. When we listen to mere men and glean our faith in God from what many teach we run the risk of coming away with a skewed view of who God is. We must always wash what we are taught by men by running man’s teachings through the pages of Scripture for accuracy.

 

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9. Here Paul gives us the simple truth on how to become a born again follower of Jesus Christ. Believe it or not, as simple a gesture as this seems many sitting in those pews have never confessed Christ. And if they never confess Christ it’s a good bet that they don’t believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead.

 

What does it mean to confess Christ? It means we’re saying that we trust Jesus to be perfect in all His ways, and we’ve completely and unswervingly given ourselves over to Him. He alone paid the price for our salvation, thus He is our redemption. He owns us; we are no longer Satan’s possession, but Christ’s.

 

As I sojourn in this world I walk in God’s precepts and I adhere to His doctrines. Nothing is going to lead me away from my Lord. But if I can’t trust Him to tell me the truth about who He is and what He’s done then how can I pretend we have a relationship? No pretentious relationship is going to give me everlasting life in Heaven with my God.

 

There are many who sit in a pew on Sunday morning erroneously believing that because they diligently attend those services and tithe from their income that they are born again. Because they do good deeds and they are, for the most part, decent people they’ve earned their way to Heaven. The very fact that people have this type of mentality should tell the rest of us that a huge deception has infiltrated those sanctuaries. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9. All the good deeds in the world will not suffice as payment for entrance into Heaven. The only way to avoid finding ourselves standing outside and knocking, asking to be let in, is to believe on the one God sent. “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” John 6:28-29. Only by believing in the One who came once and for all to reconcile us to God can we ever obtain entrance to that most glorious abode called Heaven.

 

There’s a catchy truism I’ve read lately that goes something like this, “Going to church makes you as much a Christian as standing in your garage makes you a car”. Granted, attending services might help you decide to say yes to Jesus, but in many congregations today you might be just as inclined to say no to Him, or nothing at all. Many things taught by cults and false teachers concerning who Jesus is quite often contradicts God’s inerrant word. A person might more easily be led astray than to be lead to the strait path and thus through the narrow gate which is Jesus Christ our Lord.

 

If we consider again that verse from Luke 13:24 it must be pointed out that the Greek word “polys”, which is translated into our English word “many”, actually means “a great number”. The numerical equivalent of that great number isn’t mentioned. However, we must see this as a mass of people. When combined with those who out and out reject Christ the numbers are innumerable.

 

Thinking we have a relationship with the One who created everything without actually believing who He really is, is folly. Many are caught up in this foolish mindset. Attending Sunday services and doing good deeds are not prerequisites for salvation. This incredibly pervasive deception continues almost unabated while taking a horrible toll on multitudes of folks around the world.

 

“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” Matthew 7:22-23. There’s that word “many” again. As I’ve stated, numerically we have no figure to place here but the language of those two verses indicates a vast number of deceived individuals all headed in the same direction, ultimately to destruction.

 

It’s interesting that we are given the words many and few to describe how many will perish vs. how few will enter Heaven. Jesus tells us few will enter in through the strait gate and narrow way. “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matthew 7:14. Our English word “few” is translated from the Greek word “oligos”, which is another numerical term and means little, small, few, slight. In other words, Jesus will be saying “I know you not” to a multitude of very disappointed people. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. When we believe in Him we are acknowledging Him as God and Saviour and we can depend on our entering into a personal relationship with the King of kings.

 

Jesus, speaking to the Pharisees of His day, was very blunt as He responded to their disbelief “I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am…, ye shall die in your sins.” John 8:24. Call Him a liar, deny His deity, write off His word as myth while sitting in your pew and your eternal destination will not be what you’ve planned – you will die in your sins.

GUN CONTROL

Gun Control

“O let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish thou the righteous, thou who triest the minds and hearts, thou righteous God.” Psalm 7:9. I love my brethren and care deeply for them, and I have a burden on my heart for the lost of this world. The strangeness and lateness of the hour compels me to write about a very distressing subject. Bible prophecy foretold the world, in the last days, would accept a world leader who will usher in a one world everything. To accomplish this agenda, there must first be control.

 

Here in the US our leaders are doing their part in this grand scheme of control by enacting regulations that will ultimately result in the authoritarian power over the masses. A major fine tuning is underway by those who wish to push their agenda of control upon Americans; they call it “Gun Control”. 

 

Murder by any other name is still murder, but the government seems to be confused on this point. Although our government is attempting to control guns supposedly so people won’t kill people, they conversely support the murder of babies, and call it abortion. “Come with us, let us lie in wait for blood, let us wantonly ambush the innocent;” Proverbs 1:11. These bureaucrats claim that the rash of mass murders across our land is the reason they need to control the distribution of guns and ammo. They neglect to mention anything about the millions of murders that occur yearly by the hands of paid American assassins.

 

Sixty million unborn babies have been murdered in their mother’s womb over the last 40 years. Not one gun was used in these legally sanctioned murders; when the guns are taken away from the citizenry we the people of the US will have about as much defense as the unborn in their mother’s womb. Perhaps it’s only fitting we die like the ones we would not stand up for. “Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” Psalm 127:3. As a nation, America has turned her back on God, and by murdering the heritage of the Lord we’ve spit in His eye. What’s He got in store for America? Watch out America, God will not be mocked.

 

Murdering babies while still in their mother’s womb has now become commonplace in America and around the world. There is little resistance these days to the evil agenda of the power elite that has now been exposed to the light of day. These communist “progressive” elitists’ with their vested powers are boldly moving into other “control” arenas. Yes, abortion is a control mechanism as is the confiscation of guns. Now they’ve prepared and passed legislation (Obamacare) which effectively expands those murders to include other segments of society and to do so with complete impunity. Who will be next on their agenda to be eliminated? The aged, the infirm, the physically disabled, other handicapped, the mentally challenged? Anyone who is deemed to be a blight on society by these elitists and evil people will be targeted. Anyone who is not a productive member of society will be eliminated. Realizing there must be something more to their agenda than simply gun control is easy when we consider the many “controls” that have been, and are being, placed on our society today.

 

From what is being reported concerning all the gun and ammo sales across this land, there seems to be a lot of people, patriots of all sorts, ready and willing to stand up for their rights and for the rights of others. How many of those people will be as determined when forced to face overwhelming odds is unclear. There are many loyal Obamaites (followers of the Marxist messiah), which means that a good many people are now fully intent on capitulating to the government’s demands. At this point in America, gun control is only one aspect of controlling the citizenry. There are many more controls which ultimately must be firmly in place to finally usher in a one world everything.

 

The arming of the people was a good idea in the days when this country first strived to become an independent nation. But, in the eyes of these liberal socialist Marxist, the liberty of owning guns for the purpose of “self-defense” must be eliminated. The attack on our sovereignty didn’t begin with the mass murder of those innocent children in Connecticut. No indeed, we’ve been under attack for many decades. But what we see today is that their agenda is now coming to fruition.  

 

Why must all guns be confiscated (It is being reported that anything with a pistol grip is to be illegal)? Just as Japan wouldn’t attack America’s mainland when they had set their sights on world domination, the same holds true today for Marxist socialist liberals. In the mind of the Marxist sitting in the Oval office, everybody has guns and they will fire back when attacked – so for “control”, disarm them.

 

There are those who say gun control is only about control and has little or nothing to do with guns. If it weren’t for the guns the control would already be complete. My friends, we are living in a time that can only be deduced as the extreme last days. Evil abounds in every sector of society. Morality has lost its savor. People no longer desire a peaceful coexistence. Aggression and malice have replaced civility. These days It seems that hatred is power, the more power one exhibits the more hatred is exposed. Power and control are the necessities behind the agenda of these morally deranged Marxists. There is no other way to explain what we see occurring in the US. Those who have the power over the people today are forcing their wanton, evil agenda on the rest of us. Sadly, there just doesn’t seem to be many observers of the times who still have the fortitude to raise the banner of protest against this current blitzkrieg of attacks. 

 

The destruction of America is well on its way. In order for a one world government to become established, control over the populace is necessary. This means every nation on earth must comply so that the enemy can move in with minimal resistance. Obviously, no leadership bent on establishing such controls would want any nation to be as heavily armed as are individual Americans. As soon as gun control measures become law, many law abiding Americans will become lawbreakers. But control is control and the enemy will have control, for a while at least. Yes, I’m referring to a supernatural enemy. Satan can’t have his delusional human followers being gunned down, that would mean more training of more people and he’s running out of time. So, get ready for what’s looming on the horizon – a massive takeaway program.

The following examples are in essence control measures used to establish the agenda of the enemy: Climate change aka global warming, creating a dummbed down citizenry through public education, even an overweight citizenry completely dependent on government handouts can be seen as part of their agenda, all major news media in the hands of the progressives. Eliminating the patriarchal head of the family and introducing the abomination of homosexuality as a normal and accepted lifestyle is part of their scheme to bring down the moral society we once knew.  These and many more extreme evils are all part of the agenda of the Luciferian elite. To give thought to all this evil boggles the mind of the sane; many simply refuse to believe such overwhelming evil could have infiltrated our hallowed halls of government. They have, quite successfully, infiltrated many of our Christian congregations as well. Their agenda is control and they are quite adept when it comes to technique.

 

Are these followers of Satan out to kill us all? We The People now consume genetically modified (GM) crops and animals fed with GM food, which many believe is causing untold health problems in America. Something evil is rousing, yet not many have a clue. The leadership in our government is talking about taking over all the water rights in our land, even on our farms. We will soon be forced to turn over the rights to our own personal drilled water wells to the government bureaucrats. This way the water can be doled out as they see fit. Full and severe control is at the doorstep of mankind.

 

Everything our current leadership is involved in is a precursor to establishing the one world leader that every true follower of Jesus Christ knows is coming, yet dreads the idea. The word of God and current observed events around our nation and around the globe align perfectly. All will come to pass just as is written in the Holy Scriptures. 

 

I’m as aghast as anyone at what I see approaching. The fact is we’ve grown accustomed to living in this world, and we’ve grown accustomed to our customs. All the signs point to our federal government preparing to eliminate scores of its citizens. This can be easily validated by searching the web for information on the HLS and its purchase of large amounts of ammo. Billions of rounds of hollow point ammunition for practice purposes? If that be the case it’s an unprecedented move, thus suspect. I believe there is an alternative motive behind the purchase of such a huge mass of rounds of hollow point ammunition. If I’m correct, then my suspicions will soon be proven true. “…For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” James 4:14. There is a time to live and a time to die and no one will live past their God ordained lifespan.

 

Controlling the populace is the current goal of the elected leadership in America. Gun control is a major hurdle, but it must occur because the god of this world is pursuing for that end to his agenda. History details for us that many times in the past, in other nations around the globe, the leadership of those nations enacted the same controlling measures as we see occurring in the US today, always with extreme negative affects to the inhabitants of those nations. Millions were slaughtered in the 20^th Century alone by the leadership of those nations as “control” became established. There will be the same in the US. Why? Because the citizenry of the US has forgotten their history books. When people forget history they are doomed to repeat it.

 

When the sheep fall asleep the wolf pack takes the heap. We The People have ceded what we once had to the Federal government. The leadership in America has determined that the sheep are nothing more than just that - sheep. When the people’s votes can be bought by simply giving them a free cell phone, you can be sure that those people have lost their senses. The American people have become so very delusional that lies are now seen as truth. The few that are not under the delusion, who see the lies for what they are, and who will make a stand with their new rifles, will no doubt be hounded until they are destroyed by the very same leaders they placed in elected office. The end is in sight. We are being transformed into a world which the antichrist can manipulate with ease. Where is our hope?

 

“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” Titus 2:13. We who have placed our lives in the hands of God by believing in His only begotten Son, our blessed hope is Jesus, and in His hands we are secure. I’m sorry to say we are in the minority. Many of our family members and our dear friends who have rejected God’s free gift for their salvation are in for a horrible future, especially after Christ relocates His Ekklesia to Heaven.

 

The phenomenon unfolding before us is like watching a woman in travail – birth pangs. There is an agenda being pushed upon us which will ultimately establish a position of such power over the rest of humanity that mankind will no longer have a sense of any control over their own lives. Certainly we are dwelling in the time spoken of as the “…beginning of sorrows.” Matthew 24:8.

 

Lest we, the body of Christ, forget “…God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7. Jesus is coming soon! Hallelujah! Amen!
