America in Prophecy

“Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!” Isaiah 5:8. Does this verse pique your interest at all? Although Isaiah is addressing the Southern Kingdom of Israel, referred to as Judah, America should see a very striking resemblance in regards to her own current state of affairs in this and the following Scriptures.

 

Israel was used by God as an example for other nations to follow, at this point in chapter 5 of Isaiah’s writings the Northern Kingdom of Israel was probably already gone, conquered by the Assyrians, and the Southern Kingdom of Judah was on the fast track toward becoming captives in Babylon. They had set an example alright, but it was anything but godly. The entire world once looked to America for leadership. God’s hand was on America to be an example to people of other nations on how to live godly lives. Such should be the responsibility of prosperous nations. But America, like Israel, began to fall from God’s grace when she began to lead in a manner that is diametrically opposed to the God of all creation. What more can God do but speak woes – alas, the inevitable has arrived on the shores of America as well as everywhere in between, and learning from past history has never been a strong point for Americans.

 

Is America in Bible prophecy? The verse above speaks of those who have greedily amassed land, houses, and much more materialistic nonsense to themselves than they can ever use. They are never satisfied, thus they become inflamed with the desire to increase their holdings. They’re like the drug addict who can never get enough highs. America today has just such an attitude towards abundance; we are the most materialistic nation on earth. This gluttony of materialism has left us deliriously seeking what we don’t need and can’t use. Through all this extremely covetous existence the only thing waning, and in many cases not sought after at all is our love for Jesus and for our fellow man. 

 

In this abundant land of America, even many of our poorest families live like kings when compared to the living conditions of many people in other nations. I once read of a diplomat from China who came to see for himself what America was all about. He told those he traveled America with that we (American’s) are a most prosperous people. His quote went something like this “There are nicer things and in greater abundance in your garbage dumps than what most Chinese people accumulate in a lifetime”.

 

“In mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.” Isaiah 5:9. As God pours out His judgment on America it’s not hard to see that this verse is now coming to pass just as Isaiah prophesied would occur concerning Judah. The RSV translates this verse thusly “The LORD of hosts has sworn in my hearing: “Surely many houses shall be desolate, large and beautiful houses, without inhabitant.” Many of America’s once most populated and productive cities are now nothing more than cesspools of filth, as they become more and more uninhabitable. Don’t believe me? Take a look at Cleveland, Baltimore, and the Michigan cities of Detroit and Flint to name but a few; these cities are deteriorating waste lands. Many cities all over the US are either currently filing for bankruptcy or contemplating filling.

 

Detroit, once the automotive manufacturing Mecca of the US, is now rampant with crime. Right now you can buy a house in Detroit for as little as $500.00 – that is if you want to live in the middle of crime central USA. I read on a blog recently that the city of Detroit will give you a home just for keeping the weeds cut around the house. The vacant lots, which are now quite numerous in Detroit, have become dumping grounds for dead bodies. Incredibly, many American cities are treading on similar ground.

 

Reno, Nevada, a city once bulging with visitors gambling away their hard earned wages like drunken sailors, is now on the verge of financial collapse. Homes and businesses have remained vacant since the recession of 2008. There are new subdivisions around Reno that are ghost towns “many houses shall be desolate, large and beautiful houses, without inhabitant”. This once admired and coveted city has been turned upside down. Reno has now acquired a new nickname. Once known as “Biggest Little City in the World”, it is now known as “The Meth Capital of America”. My friends, America is not becoming a more prosperous nation by any stretch of the imagination, we’ve allowed ourselves to be turned into a society of dummied down individuals greedily awaiting our next government handout.

 

“Yea, ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and the seed of an homer shall yield an ephah.” Isaiah 5:10. If these scriptures hold a prophetic future for America, and I believe they do, then what we see occurring in America is very scary indeed. There will be little in the way of fruits and vegetables produced in our near future in accordance to the availability of land mass. Famine will increase as crops begin to produce far below their normal output. Could it be that America’s crop lands will no longer feed the national populous? When there’s not enough food to go around watch what happens to a civilized nation. America is currently the number one exporter of food to other nations; what will happen in those foreign lands when America’s food production becomes insufficient even for Americans? The government may use its fiat power of creating money to help farmers and ranchers in the US stave off bankruptcy, but they can’t create food out of thin air.   

 

“Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!” Isaiah 5:11. Alcoholism, drug addiction, and crime are now consuming the masses here in America. Many people just want to stay high or drunk all the time. People who ignore or turn away from their God have no hope so they seek it from drugs and alcohol, and there are always adverse consequences to those bad decisions, not to mention they are never satisfied.

 

“And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands.” Isaiah 5:12. America has plenty of time for foolishness, all forms of entertainment and lascivious lifestyles are promoted yet we give no credence to what God has done, or to what He is currently doing. Those who party endlessly, seeking constant entertainment, will be judged and all their laughter and amusement will cease. Watch out America “For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.” Deuteronomy 4:24. God’s principles never change.   

 

“Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.” Isaiah 5:13. America was once the leader in promoting the gospel of Christ around the world, but in more recent years has become the world leader in promoting filth, such as pornography, homosexuality, fully funded abortion on demand, to name a few. Are not God’s children being systematically forced to live in a very hellish form of captivity right here in the good old US of A? There will be a famine and a thirst for the knowledge of God’s word, but that knowledge will become quite elusive in America’s final days.

 

“Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.” Isaiah 5:14. We are a nation of people who rejoice in the pomp and circumstances of our own depravity. Hell is awaiting the multitudes of the foolish to come and join the rest of the Christ rejecters. Hell was created for Satan and the angels that rebelled with him, but it has enlarged itself to accommodate the massive amount of the foolish perishing. 

 

“And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled: But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness. Then shall the lambs feed after their manner, and the waste places of the fat ones shall strangers eat.” Isaiah 5:15-17. As a nation, America will be humbled from the high and mighty to the least of the least. Whether or not the populous considers God relevant has no bearing on God’s exaltedness. God will be exalted and His righteous judgment will stand. God is holy and He will be glorified. The mockers and scorners have cast their lot with the devil. 

 

“Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope: “That say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it!” Isaiah 5:18-19. These two verses are very interesting in that they describe and expose the perverse nature of a certain segment of our society today. Who is it that continually draws attention to themselves with wicked cords of vanity? Their perverse and depraved nature is always an open display as if there was no sin involved at all. Can you not see in this verse the gay pride parades flaunting themselves in front of their Creator as though to say “We regard you not”? America, what made you fall so low as to attempt to rub God’s nose in your depravity? What arrogance, flaunting their lascivious lifestyles and mocking God in their haughtiness. America, where is your heart? God will not be mocked. As God lifts His hand of protection from the land and people who once promoted His precepts with vigor, we shall see these arrogant and evil people becoming more and more inflamed in their own wickedness. 

 

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20.  Does this verse not describe America in its current state? Everything is upside down. What was once seen as good and godly is now disparaged, and everything that was once an aversion is now being promoted as normal and acceptable. What sorrow shall befall America as she continues to rejoice in her iniquity?

 

“Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.” Isaiah 5:24. Rejecting and despising God will only bring sorrow. The Northern kingdom of Israel went through many evil kings and lived many years rejecting their God. The Southern kingdom of Judah, for the most part, did likewise. Our God is patient and merciful. But ultimately God’s patients wore thin and they were punished for their iniquities. We can see this occurring again today right here in America. Prosperity has all but vanished from this once most prosperous nation. There are now just a few who hold the wealth and power of America in their hands. According to this verse, nothing that is humanly contrived and instituted will bring it back. God sees America as rotten to the core as we’ve despised His word and many have joined the ranks of the enemy. America may well be in Bible prophecy and if so God is warning of sudden, and severe judgment.

 

It’s not hard to see that God’s anger is just as fierce and directed at America today as it was against the Southern Kingdom of Judah. America was founded on Judeo Christian principles. The land of the free and the home of the brave can be assured that God’s mighty hand of judgment has arrived. What will become of America in these last days? What happened to that Southern Kingdom of Judah?

 

Can we see America in prophecy in Isaiah’s prophetic words? Certainly there are many similarities between Israel’s downfall and America’s. The Southern Kingdom of Judah and the Northern Kingdom of Israel found out the hard way what happens to those who turn their backs on God. There are always horrible and very destructive consequences to every bad decision. All the nations that have had world prominence then embraced depravation as they reached their zenith soon began a decent into oblivion. Are we watching prophecy unfolding before our eyes as America has reached her zenith and as she now descends into some very unfavorable but predictable twilight years? What an ending!

Wake up America – He’s Not Christian

“Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:” 1 Peter 1:22. What constitutes a Christian? Belief! Belief in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. What constitutes love for the brethren? What is unfeigned love? Unfeigned love is sincere love, undisguised. There should be no doubt when it comes to our love for our brothers and sisters in Christ. Certainly opposition to our way of life is coming and it’s coming like a runaway locomotive. But when that opposition comes from a professing Christian the rest of us should be very suspicious of that person.

 

Becoming a Christian is a life changing event which every born again believer in Christ has experienced. When we become born again, born from above, from God, the one thing we want most in this life is to please our Father in Heaven. Pleasing God is not difficult. Follow His precepts, His breathed words which make up His Scriptures. God will always be pleased with us when we keep His word. Yes, occasionally we all mess up, but He already we knew that. He knows we are going to make a mistake or two along the road of life. On the other hand, standing in full opposition to every single one of God’s rules says to God you don’t care about Him or His rules.

 

Let’s say for argument sake you don’t care about God, how then can you claim kinship with Him? Standing firm against God is blatant opposition and rebellion. Why would anyone claim to be a Christian while remaining steadfastly opposed to everything we stand for? Could there be a demonic purpose behind such an attitude? Christians, that is true Christians, are God’s children. Our only agenda is to do His will. Being born again means just that, we are not the same person that came out of our mother’s womb, we’ve been transformed into the likeness of God’s Son. The things we lived for, the things we were infatuated with, the things that drew the brunt of our attention have also changed. Now that God is our Father we are much more inclined to be drawn to Him and the things that He has prescribed as most beneficial to us through His word.

 

You might have noticed that there are many professing Christians that don’t give a hoot about God’s word; they don’t give God the glory for the many blessings that they’ve received throughout their lives. Many Christians pay God little notice and many more see Him as an invisible entity that will only become relevant upon their death. But the truly born again are of a very different mindset. God is the most important part of our lives; He comes first, even before our families.

 

Across this country we have a great number of professing Christians. Many stand firm on their faith in Jesus Christ. Many will not waiver when it comes to living their life in accordance to what they know to be the truth and God’s will. There are many Christians who know that remaining strong in their faith might well bring severe retribution from the non-believing world that surrounds them. If you live in the US of A and you are at least 40 years old you might want to take notice that you no longer live in your parent’s world. This country has morphed into a country that no longer recognizes the rights of the individual. We are heading full steam into the unthinkable world of totalitarianism. To my fellow Christian brethren, you must know by now that the man who occupy’s the White House is not your brother in Christ.

 

“Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.” Matthew 7:1-2. We aren’t to be afraid of this verse because it is actually referring to condemnation. As Christians we should not be condemning but loving. There is another verse that is conveniently omitted when someone wants to beat us over the head with judge not. “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.” John 7:24. The Greek word for judge is “krino” and it means “to call into question”. Calling into question is exactly what Jesus means when He says “judge with righteous judgment”. We are to call into question the unbiblical actions of an individual or individuals and discern for ourselves whether or not to follow such persons. This is something that is sorely lacking in our Christian community. Everyone seems to be afraid of being accused of judging others. When that verse out of Matthew chapter 7 is used it is always in relationship to someone condemning someone else, and like I said, Christians aren’t to condemn but we are to call into question the actions of others and use righteous biblical discernment to do so. We are the righteous, the “called out” of God. Therefore if we don’t open our mouths in righteous judgment who will?

 

Here’s the truth of the matter, if you are an Obama supporter you are also a supporter of abortion – worldwide. If you are an Obama supporter you are a full-fledged supporter of the homosexual agenda in this country. Whether or not you agree with my stance is inconsequential, it’s God’s stance on the issues that concerns me and that is where I take my stand using biblical discernment.

If we look at the world through the lens of the Bible we can navigate much more responsibly our lives here on earth. Using God’s word as our guide through life isn’t something we should ever take lightly.

God’s Stance on Abortion

 

“I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.” Psalm 22:10. Well now that pretty much says it all but keep reading.

 

“Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” Psalm 127:3. Children are an heritage of the Lord? How many abortions have we preformed in this country alone? Children are a blessing from God, what does it say to our God when we destroy His blessings while they are still in the womb?

 

“For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.” Psalm 139:13. God is God to every aborted child. We should be completely distraught when we consider what we’ve done to provoke His ire.

 

“Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb...” Isaiah 44:2. God does the forming, we do the murdering.

 

“Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.” Isaiah 49:1. Do you get the idea from these verses that God knew us by name before He formed us in our mother’s womb?

 

“Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.” Isaiah 49:15. God never forgets, and He will not forget those who take innocent lives and never turn from their murdering ways.

 

“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee...” Jeremiah 1:5. Before God formed us in our mother’s womb He knew us. Fast forward to fifty million abortions later and what have we done to Glorify God in America, or for that matter to be deserving of even one more day on earth?

 

“Thou shalt not kill” Exodus 20:13. The word “kill” here actually means a pre-meditated act of murder – such as abortion.

 

“And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?” Luke 1:41-43.  John leapt in Elizabeth’s womb which shows he was aware – even more aware than Elizabeth – of who was near Him. 

 

Any person who professes to be a Christian yet stands against God and His precepts is only fooling themselves into Hell. My brethren, Obama is not a Christian.

God’s Stance on Homosexuality

“Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: Leviticus 18:22-24. “Well that was the Old Testament; everyone knows that no one lives by those rules anymore. After all we have freedom in Christ.” Oh really? Keep reading. 

 

“Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: ... For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: ... And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.” Romans 1:24, 26, 27. Too many professing Christians consider these verses to be obsolete, although we are told by the writer of the book of Hebrews that “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8. In other words, God’s principles never change.

 

“Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.” Luke 17:28-30. God judged and destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of rampant homosexuality and He said the same thing would be going on in the last days just before His final judgment falls. My brethren, your president is a full supporter of the lifestyle that brought God’s judgment and wrath down upon Sodom and Gomorrah.

 

For those of you who still believe this man (Obama) when he professes to be a Christian, allow me to point out that Obama was born into a Muslim family thus he was raised Muslim, he attended Muslim grammar schools. He was active in his Muslim faith for many years, even into adulthood. Here’s the big one. Obama never renounced his faith in Islam – never. Try and find a sound bite that proves me wrong, I’ll be waiting to make the correction – if I’m wrong. One of the main tenets of Islam is to lie to the infidels whenever deemed necessary to further an agenda or take advantage of a situation. Who are the infidels? Christians and Jews. Obama has lied so much to the American public and to the world that he probably believes his own lies by now.

 

So here’s the big question. Did God allow Obama to occupy that office for the good of this nation? Yes, God allowed Obama into office, but for judgment not for good. As a nation we have given God the boot which leaves an opening for evil to enter. Has Obama enacted on official act as president that would qualify as a godly Christian act? America is falling apart at the seams. On top of all the economic mess we are in, crime has gone beyond sky rocketing, immorality has reached a new high, or should I say low, as far as Christian morals are concerned. As I’ve pointed out in numerous commentaries, when the fall of America begins to take place, which it has, the Christians of this nation will be made to suffer, and that suffering is occurring now. Keep looking at the horror stories of Christian persecution; they are becoming more and more plentiful.

 

America currently has a sitting president who professes to be a Christian, yet Christians are being targeted for abuse by his administration. Perhaps one of my readers can enlighten me as to how a president who claims to be a Christian can be at the top of the persecution of my Christian brethren? Again, I’ll be waiting patiently for your reply. Pure heart? Fervently? Not this president.

The Coming Storm

The Coming Storm

“We lie down in our shame, and our confusion covereth us: for we have sinned against the LORD our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD our God.” Jeremiah 3:25. The nation of Israel was in trouble. They had ignored God and sinned against Him for generations. Can other nations learn from the mistakes Israel made? Nations today are of the same mindset as Israel all those millennia ago. Humanity as a whole has learned nothing. God is still being ignored, even forsaken. Today’s societies have dishonored God, His creation is nothing more than a disgrace, and we hide ourselves in our shame. God’s patience is surely waning and His judgment is upon us.

 

When a nation or a people contrive amongst themselves, against wisdom, to systematically remove the God of all creation from the sphere of common knowledge, consequences will follow. God may well take a step back so that those deceived individuals who have rejected Him are given a glimpse of what it would be like living without Him and His blessings. Of course God never really leaves as desertion is not included in our Father’s attributes. But to make a point, our God might begin a series of actions to help bring back into focus that which has been dulled by many decades of disobeying God and His precepts.

 

Turmoil is very evident of late. It seems that now, more than in any period of our history, we live daily with much disorder and confusion in our midst. But sitting just off the horizon is “The Coming Storm” which will make today’s turmoil’s seem more like child’s play. What am I talking about? Brewing in the under belly of humanity is a massive amount of pent up anger and frustration. There is an implosion coming.

 

Currently, deep seated emotions are running amuck – seemingly uncontrollable. There’s an attitude among many today that leans toward a basic survival instinct which blends well with an animalistic nature. There is a driving force behind this nonhuman concept and it is moving to the surface of every civilization like a volcano ready to spew out its molten lava. We are surrounded by unimaginable, supernatural violence. More and more the violent attacks on members of our society seem to be taking on an animalistic personality. What we are seeing is just the beginning of people “feeding” off one another, both emotionally and literally.

 

Preceding disorder is an invisible undercurrent of wickedness. Yes, lying in the path of all civilization is “The Coming Storm”, and that storm will be of such magnitude hearts will fail mankind. “Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.” Luke 21:26. What things? Things that mankind are not familiar with; incredibly unbelievable and devastating things that will shake mankind to the core. Apprehension, disillusionment, anger, corruption, and despair will become valid responses as the people of earth are thrust into ever increasing disorder; anything but business as usual.

 

That Coming Storm which is currently brewing will be preceded by very terrifying events, events which will disrupt the natural ebb and flow that nations depend on for a balanced society. Those events will include, but are not limited to, massive and frequent earthquakes, ever increasing famines, mind boggling pervasive diseases, uncontrollable wildfires, extreme droughts, and one that will catch many Americans off guard is the coming economic collapse which will shake American greed and her self-indulged materialism to its core. Most people won’t heed warnings of a cataclysmic nature until the cataclysm is upon them. We read in our Bibles that the last days will be wrought with catastrophic events. Since most of earth’s population considers the Bible a fairytale, they give no credence to its warnings of future events. The Bible has never missed regarding the prophecies found within its pages, and it never will.

 

Natural catastrophic events are not the only game in town. Satan and his cohorts are fully aware of the signs that point to the soon approaching last seven year period before Christ’s return. There is a huge amount of malevolent supernatural activity which is creating major havoc around the globe. Many Christians are oblivious to the writing on the wall; they have no grasp of the ominous times which we’re now experiencing. As our time on planet earth dwindles we will be confronted with many more of the enemy’s deceptions which are all planned to create mayhem.

 

We can see by all the horrid news reports being thrust at us with an ever increasing frequency that the demonic realm is in full military posture. Fathers murdering their children, mothers killing their babies and turning cannibalistic. People biting and ripping other people apart with their teeth and then eating the flesh of those they’ve just chewed on. Most of these bazaar occurrences are perpetrated by naked men with super human strength. This weirdness is just the beginning. We will see much worse actions from these demon possessed individuals. Yes, I said demon possessed individuals. Make no mistake, Satan is building an army of human followers bent on the destruction of their fellow man. What we are being told by the media should be dismissed as nonsensical and even blatant deception. Yes drugs play a part in that they open a portal for the demonic to enter our domain, where they can proceed to possess the people who place themselves in that drug induced state. What we witness in these ongoing horrific events can only be described as supernatural demonic forces capitalizing on mankind’s own foolishness.

 

If you don’t believe we are in as much trouble as I believe we are, a trip to your local ER might help convince you. I was in the hospital a few days ago for tests. The young lady doing the testing was also an ER attendant. She told my wife and me a hair-raising story. Apparently this new drug “bath salts” is not hard to come by, and when used it creates a monster inside a monster. Most who take this new drug are already under the influence of mind altering drugs, so they compound the problem. One young woman was brought into the ER after using “bath salts”. While undergoing detoxification she told our attendant that she had a three year old daughter who she left at home (alone) as punishment – the child had messed up the house. The young woman explained to the attendant that she never wanted the child. It was only her boyfriend that wanted a baby. Our attendant told us this kind of thing goes on all the time here in this little rural “Bible belt” community. It boggles the mind to even imagine the demonic goings on in every city and community around the globe. 

 

When people look at evil through humanistic eyes, they can’t see that the mass of wickedness currently affecting all societies is supernatural rather than simply drug or alcohol induced. As recently alluded to in the Aurora Colorado massacre, insanity is said to have played a part in that horrific episode. No, the wickedness that is being observed on every continent is not insanity but demonic. The end, which most of us familiar with the Bible prophecies have been patiently waiting for, is currently in sight. Not a pretty sight but it’s here, and it is burgeoning.

 

For the most part, people today have no spiritual discernment. Therefore as the news stories of horrible wickedness and destruction become more prevalent society will only react in ways that will add to their confusion (perplexity). There will be much more corruption, which will be feeding the wickedness like pouring gas on an already burning fire. Because the ruler of the universe (the One true God) is no longer considered relevant in most societies today, the malevolent supernatural forces being unleashed on these lands have begun to enforce their satanic mandate of invasion. Most of earth’s current population belongs to Satan, and they’re playing right into his hand. Without God there can be no defense against the wiles of the devil. Sadly, the majority of folks today want nothing to do with our God and Savior, Jesus Christ. Why is that?

“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” 2 Corinthians 4:4. The deceptions that have been the prevailing teachings through many different venues for so long are the blinding force which has shrouded the minds of the lost so thoroughly that they won’t see the truth. It’s not that they can’t see it, but that they refuse to see it. They belong to Satan; they follow him and do his will. This is precisely why wickedness is burgeoning at a phenomenal rate. Satan is a real supernatural being bent on the destruction of mankind. His only agenda is to steal, kill, and destroy, and he will use all his human conscripts to accomplish that goal.

 

The refusal to recognize God as Creator and Saviour is paramount on earth right now. Thus, as God sees no other alternative because of the worldwide rejection of Him, major catastrophic events are on the way. In America we’re currently experiencing an economic meltdown, super high unemployment coupled with an ever diminishing living wage, together with a nationwide drought all add to the disruption of normalcy. Corn prices are rising as the crops are decimated, added to that is the fact that cattle ranchers no longer have the wherewithal to feed and water their herds. All this is coupled with ever increasing food prices at our local markets. These upheavals are bringing with them a sense of uselessness from what was once a stable middle class. What we plainly see brewing, my brethren, is The Coming Storm.

 

Tempers are on edge, anger is going unchecked in much of society. People are in a quandary as to what tomorrow will bring as they watch their once thriving societies crumbling before their eyes. There is nothing normal about the demonic. Although the malevolent supernatural legions may not be responsible for our current weather patterns, they certainly know how to capitalize on every crisis. Whenever Satan observes humans turning their backs on God he will use his new human conscripts in his attempts to disrupt the salvation plan of God. Those who have no hope will embrace the wickedness that we now see coming upon this planet. Today we see armies of young lost men and women prowling the streets seeking to dominate and terrorize the unsuspecting and this horrible phenomenon is also burgeoning.

 

Many people believe we are moving into a new era of human history. Not so. This world’s civilizations are firmly planted on a teetering precipice that has been our lot for decades. Every nation on earth is currently on a collision course with an inhuman and immovable malevolent force. Evil will not only persist in these last days, but we will become astonished at how rapidly the digression into full on wickedness occurs. People will begin to worship whatever idol they can conjure up in hopes of curtailing the violence. Sadly, returning to the One true God will not be part of most of the last days inhabitants endeavors.

 

Storms are brewing, storms of wickedness, immorality, major civil unrest, there is an incredible amount of thievery, as well as other corruptions including murder all taking place at a phenomenal pace. This is what comes of nations that turn away from their Creator. All of these consequences are avoidable, but they are inevitable when corruption and sinfulness becomes the norm.

 

“Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.” Micah 7:7. As Christians we have nothing to fear from Satan or his minions of evil as we look forward to the soon arrival of Jesus Christ. We were once Satan’s property but now we’ve become defectors from his camp, thus Satan is lying in wait for each of us. With our armor firmly in place we are fully protected against any payback the enemy may have up his sleeve. But don’t become cocky in your confidence; we can be adversely affected anytime we let down our guard. Satan and his conscripts will give no quarter to those who mean to stand in his way. Right now, standing in his way are all the children of God. If you are not prepared for the battle of a lifetime perhaps you should grab your Bible and study it (Ephesians 6 in particular) instead of watching baseball or some other distraction that has no eternal value.

 

Leaning on the God of your salvation is the key. “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7. Although Satan is completely out of his league when compared with the Creator of the universe he is a very real and powerful supernatural being, one we humans should never take lightly. God has given us the power to withstand the devil, so withstand.
